Beautiful natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise, hand carved into classic melon-shaped beads. This AA+ material displays a lovely medium Sleeping Beauty blue with subtle natural variation.

Most beads contain at least one small area of brown matrix. Rather than detracting from the stones, the matrix gives each bead its own natural character and provides a visible reminder that this is genuine, untreated turquoise.

The beads graduate from approximately 5.5mm to 9mm, and each strand measures approximately 16 inches in length.  Approximate carat weight is 146 per strand.  The turquoise was sourced in Arizona and skillfully cut and hand carved in Jaipur, India.
