Beautiful AAA-quality prasiolite, also known in the trade as green amethyst, faceted into an unusual twisted rondelle shape.

Sourced from India, these stones display a deeper green than the soft mint color more commonly associated with prasiolite. They are transparent, with excellent clarity and remarkably consistent color throughout the strand.   They are heat treated which is a common accepted practice with amethyst/quartz. 

The beads graduate from approximately 7mm to 13mm, and each strand measures approximately 16 inches in length. Their sculptural twisted shape and sparkling facets catch the light beautifully, giving the strand exceptional movement and visual interest.
